World Cup 2010: Tuesday's round-up

Football - World Cup 2010: Tuesday's round-up:

"Barcelona defender Rafael Marquez has trained with Mexico for the first time since injuring his right leg in last week's 2-1 friendly victory over Italy.

It was Mexico's first practice session with every player present since the team arrived in South Africa.

Mexico opens the World Cup on Friday against the hosts, with its Federation president Justino Compean admitting the squad is 'nervous but confident'.

Mexico has played more warm-up matches to prepare for the tournament than any of the other 31 teams.

United States striker Robbie Findley has warned England they can cause them problems 'all over the pitch' in Saturday's opening group C match in Rustenburg.

Findley and Edson Buddle impressed as a forward combination during the United State's 3-1 win over Australia in their final warm-up international - but Findley believes England will also have to contend with threats from elsewhere."
